Renewable Energy/Distributed Generation Technologies (RE/DGT) is an
alternative for members who want more direct control of their energy costs.
Though it is usually considered only by larger commercial and/or industrial
members, RE/DGT is an option for residential members as well. RE/DGT can be
used to supplement the energy supplied by the utility, as a means to defer
costly system upgrades, or to overcome the restraints of the utility system
area. To help members determine whether RE/DGT is feasible for them, the New
Hampshire Electric Cooperative commissioned a study that presents
information about the RE/DGT that are commercially available, as well as the
cost-effectiveness of each application. Click the link in the downloads area to read the study.
