Economic Development

Your Business Partner

In these changing economic times, attracting new business takes teamwork, and teamwork is part of the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative (NHEC) philosophy. Because we are owned by the members we serve, we have an active interest in the economic well being of the businesses and communities in and around our service area.

Co-op staff will review a site to determine what is needed to accommodate your facility and electric service requirements. However, the Co-op will connect you to a lot more than power. Our staff along with our municipal partners will provide a range of services designed to facilitate a new and expanding business. We have a team of experienced energy service personnel that will evaluate your operations and electric service needs and provide you with an estimate of your electric service costs for any of our service territory communities.

The Co-op team will assist you in assessing all your development needs and help you take advantage of the services offered by the White Mountain Gateway Economic Development Corporation and the Co-op Key Accounts program. NHEC can also list your commercial property on Sites Across America.

NHEC has also launched an online training website for small business and entrepreneurs. Small BizU, an online academy created for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

We invite you to contact our Business & Community Development Manager, Judy Gove by email and see what your Co-op can do for your business.
