Caring for Members in Need
Project Care is a tax-exempt charitable organization formed in 1990 in association with the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, Inc. Project Care works in conjunction with social service agencies to assist Co-op members in crisis situations pay their electric bills and avoid disconnection of service.
In 15 years, Project Care has raised more than $500,000 in contributions and helped more than 3,000 Co-op member families facing financial crisis.
The New Hampshire Electric Co-op Foundation is the major source of funds for Project Care.
