Created and governed by a consortium of business, education and civic leaders, White Mountain Gateway Economic Development Corporation (WMGEDC) is committed to the economically feasible and socially responsible growth of the Plymouth and White Mountain regions.

WMGEDC was formed in 2001. Its purpose is to promote, assist, encourage and facilitate the acquisition, construction and development of industrial, commercial, manufacturing, warehousing and recreational facilities in the White Mountain area. More specifically, WMGEDC is expected to lead economic development efforts in the area in the form of real estate development.
