Click on a Executive's name to view their Bio. | Fred Anderson | President/Chief Executive Officer | Bio: Fred came to the Cooperative in 1981 after serving as the Systems Accountant for the Rural Electrification Administration in Washington, D.C. Since that time, he progressed from an Assistant Finance Administrator with the Cooperative to Assistant General Manager and now the President/CEO.
Fred holds a BSBA in Accounting from Merrimack College and an MS in Taxation from Southeastern University. He has also received certificates in Quality Leadership from Rivier College and Utility Programs from Western Michigan University.
Fred is currently President, past Vice President and past Treasurer of the Northeast Association of Electric Cooperatives and Past President and current Board Member of the Northeast Public Power Association. Fred is also an active member of the American Institute of CPAs. He is a past Board member of the Whole Village Family Resource Center and is currently serving on the Plymouth Regional High School Board, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Pemigewasset National and Berlin City banks. Fred is past President of the Consumer Owned Energy Foundation and sits on the Board of Directors of the Northway Bank. He is also a founding Board member of the NHEC Foundation. Fred resides in Campton with his wife Kathy and their two children.
| | James Bakas | Vice President of Operations & Engineering | Bio: Jim joined the Cooperative in the spring of 2002 after providing ten years of service to NSTAR Electric and Gas Company/Boston Edison Company where he progressed from a Customer Service Engineer to Manager of Account Support providing solutions to the Key Account Community in the form of product and service offerings. In his role as Vice President of Operations, Jim oversaw the electric distribution system operations of the Co-op’s ten district offices including field operations, field planning, and fleet maintenance/garage. In the fall of 2006 Jim took on the responsibilities of the Engineering Division and became the Vice President of Operations and Engineering increasing his responsibilities to include all engineering services for the distribution system, along with metering, plant services, warehouse, and the electric shop.
Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. Jim first began his service at the Co-op as the Operations Manager of the Energy Solutions Division where he was responsible for sustaining the organizational success of the division. He was successful in doing so by managing the development and delivery of products and services to the membership across all market segments as well as developing and implementing a successful Key Account Program.
Jim is a member of the Illuminating Engineers Society; the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and most recently was elected to the Board of Directors for the Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA) in the fall of 2006.
In May of 2007 Jim completed the program “Leadership NH”, a program developed in 1992 in response to the Governor’s commission desire to identify emerging talent for future leadership roles to address statewide issues.
Jim lives in Moultonborough with his wife Edrea and their two daughters Rachel and Jessica and is active in the community through his involvement with the planning board and youth sports programs.
| | Dena Lee DeLucca | Vice President of Corporate & Member Services/CFO | Bio:
As Vice President of Corporate & Member Services/CFO for the NH Electric Cooperative, Dena is responsible for the financial and accounting performance of the company, as well as the Human Resources, Safety/Facilities, Information Technology, innovative product and service development, member and media relations as well as overall strategic marketing and economic development functions.
Ms. DeLucca joined the Cooperative in the spring of 1998 after 13 years of government service, including positions with the Governor’s Office of Energy and Community Services as well as the Governor’s Office of Emergency Management.
Dena has a Masters of Business Administration from Southern NH University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from

College
. Dena is active in the community, previously serving as Secretary on the Southern NH University Alumni Board of Directors and as Past President of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. She is a Past President and current volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH. She currently serves as a New Hampshire Trustee of the Big E and is a member of the Scholarship Committee. Dena is also an Adjunct Faculty member with Southern NH University’s
Laconia
campus, where she teaches Advertising and Principles of Management. Dena is a 2003 Leadership NH Graduate.
| | Wm. Ray Gosney, Jr. | Executive Vice President, Strategy & Governmental Relations | Bio:
Ray came to the Cooperative in 1992 from the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative and the Virginia Electric & Power Company. Since that time he has held a number of senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer. He is currently Executive Vice-President of the Cooperative's Strategy and Governmental Relations Division responsible for strategic planning, government policy and relations, legislative and regulatory issues, and business relations.
Ray has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and has done post-graduate work in business administration at Plymouth State University. Ray is a graduate of the Northeast Public Power Association’s Utility Management Program and the National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association’s Management Internship Program, has a certificate in Quality Leadership from Rivier College, and is a 2001 Associate of Leadership New Hampshire. He serves as Chair of the Information and Digital Communications Committee of NRECA’s Cooperative Research Network and Chair of the Board of Directors for MultiSpeak™.
Ray is an active member of his community, serving as Chair of the Town of Plymouth’s Planning Board and Chair for the Board of Directors of Grafton County Economic Development Council, and is a founding Board Member of the NHEC Foundation. He resides in Plymouth.
| | Stephen E. Kaminski | Vice President of Power Resources and Access | Bio: After receiving his Electrical Engineering degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1974, Steve went to work as an Electrical Engineer with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Electrification Administration in Washington, D.C. He joined the Cooperative in 1981 as Electrical Engineer, advancing to the position of Director of Power Supply.
In 1994, after receiving his MBA from Plymouth State College, Steve was appointed Director of Energy Services, responsible for power supply, conservation and load management, and rates. After a reorganization in 1997, he became Director of Energy Access and Services, with continuing responsibilities for the Cooperative’s energy resources, energy services, complementary products and services programs, and coordination of the Cooperative’s efforts to implement retail competition for its members. In his present position Steve manages the wholesale power and transmission arrangements that allow members to either use the Cooperative as their power supplier or to purchase their electricity from State-registered competitive suppliers. Steve is licensed in the State of New Hampshire as a registered professional engineer, is the Cooperative’s New England Power Pool representative, and is the Chairman of the Power Supply Committee of the Northeast Public Power Association.
Steve lives in Plymouth with his wife Linda. They have two sons, David and Kevin. Steve is a member of the Plymouth Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Plymouth Conference for Parents and the Plymouth Area Community Closet.
