NHEC is providing incentives and services to help residential and commercial members invest in renewable energy systems. Below are highlights of the programs, including links to program pages that contain further information and/or application forms. More information is also available by calling Member Solutions at 1-800-698-2007. Please be advised that rebates and program enrollment are available on a first-come first served basis.

Heat Pump Rebates

NHEC will offer rebates of up to $4,000 on the installation of Low Temperature Heat Pumps, Hybrid Heat Pumps, Geothermal Heat Pumps and Heat Pump Water Heaters

Solar Hot Water Rebates

This program is fully subscribed and is unavailable until further notice. Please check this page periodically to see if further rebate funding becomes available.

NHEC will offer a limited number of rebates of up to $1,500 on the installation of qualified solar hot water systems. This program is intended as a bridge to the State of New Hampshire's solar hot water rebate program, which is expected to be operational later in 2010.

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and Monitoring

NHEC will install REC meters and monitor member-sited renewable energy systems for a fee of $11 per month. This fee will be waived for those who sign their RECs over to NHEC.

Solar Hot Water, PV, Small Wind, Micro-hydro for Education Projects

NHEC will offer rebates of up to $5,000 to assist institutions, businesses and non-profit organizations to promote the growth of renewable energy. An educational component that demonstrates the value and importance of renewable energy is a required portion of the project. Please see program information and application at right of this page.

Solar Hot Water and Solar PV Feasibility Analysis

NHEC will offer preliminary analysis of renewable energy systems for Commercial & Industrial members based on information supplied by the building operator.
