This program was approved by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission to give rebates up to $4,500 for residential members who install a qualified geothermal system. Rebate dollars are limited and will be paid on a first come first served basis.
New Construction - a member would have to build a new house to a HERS index of 70 or less in order to receive up to $4,500 in Geothermal heat pump rebates. The rebate is calculated as $800 per ton up to 5 tons, plus $500 for all Duct work in conditioned space. $350 for plans evaluation and site inspections for new construction will be deducted from the rebate.
Completed application and plans must be submitted prior to Construction.
