New appliances are not only filled with new features and technology, they can also help you save big in the long run.   ENERGY STAR ® certified appliances use 10 to 50 percent less energy than standard appliances. NHEC has rebates available to help with the purchase of new efficient models from all manufacturers.

Heat pumps are 300% more efficient than traditional heating systems.  High efficiency, cold weather heat pumps can keep you warm throughout New Hampshire’s harsh winters and cool during our muggy summers. We have rebates available to help with the cost and knowledge to answer your questions.

Whether you are renovating your house, or building a new one, an ENERGY STAR home can reduce energy costs and increase quality, comfort, and value. We work with certified contractors across New Hampshire and provide incentives to maximize efficiency and comfort.

New Hampshire Electric Cooperative is an electric utility that puts you first. We are not-for-profit, owned by our customer-members, and governed by the democratic process, so our members are at the center of everything we do. 

Headquartered in Plymouth, we connect our members through 5,600 miles of energized lines, crossing 115 communities throughout New Hampshire.  We think differently because we belong to the members and communities we serve.
