We’re getting multiple reports today from members and non-members around the state about calls they are receiving from individuals claiming to represent NHEC. The callers are demanding payment of an alleged past due balance and threatening immediate disconnection if payment is not received. THIS IS A SCAM – DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL OR PAYMENT INFORMATION! If possible, get a name and a phone number and report it to your local police. Or, just hang up!
