New Hampshire Electric Co-op is a nonprofit governed by the democratic process. This means members a voice in the governance of their electric utility.
The Co-op is governed by a Board of Directors elected from and by our membership. We want to here from any member interested in running for one of the open director seats or becoming a part of the election process.
Each year, a Nominating Committee recommends candidates to run for the board. We are looking for any and all members who are interested in becoming a part of this integral piece of the Co-op board election. Also, any member who has an interest in becoming a member of the board of directors, now is a good time to start making preparations. Click here for more information on the board election process.
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee reviews the qualifications of potential candidates seeking election to the Co-op’s Board of Directors and nominates a slate of candidates to run for open seats. This Committee is an important part of the cooperative way of doing business. Any Co-op member interested in being part of the Nominating Committee is encouraged to apply today. Board of Directors
In May of 2026, Co-op members will vote to fill any open seats on the 11-member Board of Directors. The Co-op encourages broad representation from a diverse group of candidates from all parts of our service territory. We urge all qualified members to consider running and start making preparations for candidacy.
