Applying For a Grant
The NHEC Foundation supports charitable organizations that are designed to promote health and social well-being programs, enrichment programs and/or educational programs, hunger programs, cultural art programs and academic achievement programs. The maximum grant award is $10,000 and grant awards typically range between $500 and $7,500. Projects must be located within NHEC service area or significantly benefit NHEC members and support the Foundation’s charitable priorities.
Is My Organization or Project Eligible for a Grant?
If you are a first-time applicant or are unsure if your project is eligible to receive funding through the NHEC Foundation, you can submit an eligibility inquiry sheet and we will be happy to work with you before you submit your supporting documents.
A Complete Grant Application Requires the Following:
Once you are ready to apply, make sure you have the following documents ready to upload. (Please note that the maximum file size is 32MB. Files must be in the following formats – doc, docx, jpeg,jpg,or pdf.)
- Application Supporting Questions
- Program/Project Budget
- Board of Trustee Listing
- IRS Tax Determination Letter
- Financial Statement (from the most recent fiscal year)
